A decade of growth in music streaming
Global music revenue grew 7.4% in 2020, which is the 6th consecutive year of revenue growth for the music industry, after declining revenues during 15 years. Streaming represents around 60% of the global recorded music revenues last year. Over 100 million people subscribed to a music streaming service last year, brining up the total to 443 million subscriptions. Who said the music industry was dead a couple years back?
