Crops rise as traders assess export prospects in the aftermath of Hurricane Ida

Crops prices climbed as investors watched Hurricane Ida for signs of interruption to US exports while assessing a larger rally in risk assets in response to the Federal Reserve's dovish views. On Sunday, Hurricane Ida slammed into the Louisiana coast, jeopardizing US energy supplies as well as crucial soybean and grain transit routes.
