Delta Air Lines loses altitude on Q1 results

While results were underwhelming, it was expected to say the least. However many positive things are on the horizon for the aviation company. DAL will be opening up middle seat again on May 1 as ticket bookings begin to ramp up as of March data. Most notably, the company says it began generating positive cash flow of $4 mln per day in March as the bookings curve extended. Furthermore, DAL expects to break even on an operating basis in June and to report a profit in 3Q21.
