Europe is the leader for offshore windpower
As of 2020, Europe had an almost 25,000 MW production capacity, while Asia almost reached 10,000 MW, but the US barely had 50. Leading wind turbines manufacturers like General Electric, Siemens Gamesa and Vestas have no plants in the US. Needless to say, there is much room for growth in this sector for the US.
