Europe open: Travel stocks hit on Delta variant worries

Travel and energy stocks made the European shares open lower on Monday as investors are fearing the rising number of Delta variant covid cases. The pan-European STOXX 600 index fell 1.5%, Germany's DAX dropped 1.4% and France's CAC 40 declined 1.62% Morevover, Carnival fell almost 8% while airlines (easyJet, Wizz Air,...) all fell more than 5%.
