First cryptocurrency transaction completed with Visa

Visa announced that it will now allow transactions using the USD Coin stablecoin. This is the first step towards a wider transition towards cryptocurrency. This means that you will no longer need to convert your cryptos in fiat currency before performing a payment. This is to answer not only a trend, but a demand from consumers to use cryptocurrencies as a mean for spending. According to a study from Visa, 25% of Latin Americans using credit cards would like to experiment with cryptocurrency payment processors if they had the opportunity. The next step for the company is to allow the purchase of Bitcoin with Visa credentials.
