Headwinds ahead? Airlines could face inflation risk.

Airlines might just face further inflationary risk ahead on many fronts: fuel, parts, and labor depending on the timing of negotiations with unions could prove to be challenging. Usually, these costs would likely be passed on to customers but in the current post-covid world, it’s hard to know how airlines will handle these costs. Inflation following the worst downturn in aviation history could make the recovery for airlines even more challenging.
