Internet Shutdowns leaving people in the dark
Governments shutdowns of the internet can happen during elections or upheavals, and leave the people without information, desperate for it, doing all they can to grab a VPN access. Recent examples are the elections in Tanzania a couple months ago, or the coup in Myanmar last week.
