LG won't make smartphones anymore

LG Electronics announced the end of an era, stating they would stop competing in the smartphone market. While the company still held 10% of the US market, the company only saw losses in the long term, and decided to quit to focus on other projects. Many fans were very sad to hear the news, saying that LG maybe did not make the best phones, but always came up with interesting new ideas. The company had been making phones for 25 years now, but slowly fell behind stronger competitors like Samsung and Apple.
