Malaysian chipmakers are still having trouble keeping up with demand
Global demand for Malaysian chips is still outstripping supply, according to an industry executive, after a surge in Covid-19 cases disrupted manufacturing at a time when car companies, phone companies, and medical equipment manufacturers are ramping up production. Nonetheless, the semiconductor scarcity may lessen by the end of the year as more Malaysian workers return to factories. Source: Reuters
