UK Government borrows the most ever! Can the BOE really lift rates?

ONS figures show the highest levels of February borrowing since records began in 1993, with £17.6bn more borrowed than February 2020.

It beggars the question whether the government can afford higher borrowing costs - and what the Bank of England can do about rising UK gilt yields.
