Which major US index has performed the best year to date?

Normalized as of the 23rd of March 2020, the Russell 2000 Index has outperformed all other major US indexes with a growth of 119.8%, followed by the S&P Equal Weight (+90%), the NASDAQ 100 (+75.5%) and the Russell 1000 Growth (+75.5%).
