20 years of lumber price: new highs being reached

"Why is it so expensive?", you may ask. Good question, after all, it's only wood. The answer is rather simple. With a very low inventory and a high demand, the price of lumber has increased 60% over the past 6 months. This is not only due to constraints imposed by the global pandemic, tariffs on wood from Canadian mills create an inflated price for American construction companies.
