BoA paid $91bn in fines since 2000

According to Bank of America, it has been involved in $91 billion in penalties for 86 legal cases over the past 20 years for they state that the majority was related to mortgage-related issues that they brought on from acquisition of groups who previously had problems from 2008 mostly. Together the top six banks involved are close to hitting a $200 billion paid out in fines and penalties. Source: FT
