The pandemic fueled monitor's sales
When you start to realized that you will not spend days, but months or even years working from home, you quickly abandon the laptop to get comfortable on a proper monitor. That, combined with a surge of interest for gaming, has propelled the monitor market to the strongest growth year since the market researcher began tracking the industry in 2008. 136 million monitors were sold in 2020, with Dell being the leader with 26 million, followed by TPV, HP, Lenovo and Samsung.
