The rise of influencers

Many companies noticed that there was one source of information that customers trusted the most when making a purchase decision: their social circle. If it is not a friend that recommends us a product, it can easily be replaced by people displaying their life on social media, making us feel so engaged that they feel like acquaintances: influencers. Influencers tended to have the biggest influence in countries likes Brazil, Nigeria, China and India, with 30% of more of the population admitting purchasing a product after hearing an influencer's recommendation.
