US GDP went up thanks to consumers spending
US GDP grew 6.1% in the first quarter of 2021, mainly fueled by consumers spending, itself fueled by several rounds of stimulus checks. Personal consumption indeed increased by 10.7% from the previous quarter. The chart hereby shows you a decomposition of the total gross domestic product.
